I read your review on your website of the 6220 Classic. How
close is it, in terms of spec, to the N95? I'm hunting for a new
phone for my daughter and this one sure looks interesting..
It does most of what my N95 8GB does. The only things lacking
are WiFi and... trying to think about it... er, the screen's
smaller and umm only one speaker. That's about it. WiFi isn't a
deal breaker if you're on a generous data plan, the screen is the
same resolution but smaller so looks nicer and clearer. If you like
listening to music or watching stereo video clips, you're gonna be
wearing headphones anyway.
Not all applications work on the handset, but most major ones do
(sometimes you have to choose versions for different handsets as
the 6220 is still pretty new)
6220 has Xenon flash while N95 has LED flash - makes big
difference in low light conditions. another thing i can think of is
6220 has 2.5mm audio jack instead of 3.5mm - so you'll need an
adapter to use the standard 3.5mm headphones
The camera cover is a welcome departure from Nokia's current
trend of leaving the lenses exposed on their devices, which I don't
understand at all. I persoanlly had my eye on the N96 but have
since set my stall out for the Samsung INNOV8. I'll have to pay the
Nokia store on Regents street a visit this weekend I think. Many
thanks...

You're welcome. By the way, I forgot to say what was better than the N95...
The camera seems to be of either the same of better than the N95 8GB but starts way faster and has a cover!
The built-in S60 browser starts up quicker on the 6220
Oh, and like I said the GPS is far better (quicker start up and accuracy) than the N95 8GB

@cybette I forgot about the audio jack - I've been using Bluetooth headphones instead (I can't go back to wires!)
